Farewell 2011...a wonderful year!

Where has this year gone?
We are already celebrating the festive season, meeting with friends, wearing red dresses and silly antlers!
On the left you can see a fabulous group of women, the 4 Points Authors Network members who gathered together last week to celebrate the achievements of 2011 and the coming festive season.
Marie, Annie, Fi, Jenn, Bronwyn, Diane, Suz,(authors) and Jeanette(fairy godmother). Unfortunately, our two other members, Karly and Kerry, were unable to attend.
 4PAN covers four points of the compass from Armidale in the west, to Coffs Harbour in the east and south to Port Macquarie.This fabulous group of women meet monthly (and email regularly) to provide support for each other on their writing journeys.
It was this group who cheered me on and encouraged me to write in what was a difficult year for me; it was this group who were the first to know when I got "the call" in May, and it was this group who celebrated with champagne when I signed my first contract in June.
They encouraged me and cheered me on when I took to the world of editing and commiserated with me when I complained about how busy I was now that I had retired from the world of full time work.
So 4PAN ladies, raise your glasses, and have a wonderful festive season! You deserve it!
