My favorite time of the year is almost here!
Valentine’s Day... the day we are encouraged to celebrate our
love for our partners or the person we would like to be our partner!
I am sure Nick from
Holiday Affair would take Lissy out to the restaurant where they had a most interesting
encounter. I loved writing that scene which may have been based on a teesy weensy bit of personal experience!
Do you exchange gifts on Valentine ’s Day? Or even a simple
greeting card
Red roses...chocolates...
naughty underwear... the Taj Mahal?
Yes ... did you know the most fantastic gift of love is the
Taj Mahal in India. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan as a memorial to
his wife.
On Valentine ’s Day I am going to put up
a list of one hundred things to do for your Valentine to make your partner feel loved. So...
I need some help from you.
What do you do for your Valentine on Valentine’s Day to make
them feel special?
I’ll start the ball rolling.
No 1. I prepare a special dinner and set the table with
candles and red roses...
No 2.... Over to you, dear readers. Leave a comment below and go in the draw for a copy of Holiday Affair and a $10 Amazon gift card.

ReplyDeleteI get my hubby a card and usually make dinner. He takes me out to dinner and usually gets me a lovely plant or orchid. I like them better than cut flowers.

I make restaurant reservations to a place he has never been to (because my husband does nothing in advance so if I don't it would be dinner at home with the little kids and I deserve a valentine's night free of the word "MOM").

Hubby has diabetic neuropathy, so a full-body massage - focusing on his sore legs and feet - is my gift to him. {Shhhh - don't tell.}

My husband will work this Valentine's Day. When he gets home I think we will go out for dinner. Maybe at Red Lobster. That way he can have a nice dinner, and I don't have to do dishes.
ReplyDeleteMy kids are my Valentines and I all I have to do to make them feel special is take them to get ice cream or give them some candy. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I prefer making things from the heart than buying. So a love letter or baked goodie is what I like to give.
